The Scots College Preparatory and Senior School Snowsports Teams

2018 Australian

Male Snowsports Champion School

The Scots College Snowsports Teams compete annually at the Sydney, New South Wales andAustralian Interschools Snowsports Championships and The Scots Race.

In 2018, The Scots College Senior Snowsports Team successfully defended its National Interschools Championship trophy at Perisher for an unprecedented eleventh consecutive year. The Scots Preparatory School Snowsports Team also won the Primary Male National Championship School Trophy for the eleventh time. Thus, The Scots College is truly the Champion Australian Male Snowsports School.

The TSC Snowsports Academy is an on-snow campus that has been developed to cater for the needs of athletes balancing a traditional education with Snowsports training. The athletes spend 10 weeks at the Academy during the Snow season, combining essential access to on-snow training with the School Curriculum

TSC Snowsports Association facilitates TSCSA Race Preparation and Coaching Programs during the July school holidays and Interschools Race weeks. These Programs focus on developing and reinforcing race skills for Scots Interschools Race competitors across the various disciplines

Additionally, each season groups of Scots boys participate in TSC Snowsports Development Programs. These pathway Programs provide an opportunity for Scots students to develop their Snowsports skills through quality instructional Programs.

The strength of Snowsports at The Scots College is the manner in which the Preparatory and Senior Schools work together as one community. This is made possible by the outstanding support that the Preparatory and Senior School teams receive from the TSC Snowsports Association, and The College Leadership Team under the guidance of Dr Lambert and Mr Crerar.
